TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Training Band
The Stonnington City Brass training band welcomes players of all ages.
Absolute beginners have weekly lessons during the school term and play as part of an ensemble as they learn.
Players who have a couple of years' experience or who are returning after an extended break will be assessed and placed in either the beginner program or the Senior band, where they will be able to be supported by other band members to help them develop their skills.
Loan instruments are available.
All volunteer mentors from the senior band have a current Working With Children Check. This is compliant with the Government’s Child Safe legislation.
Rehearsals are on a Tuesday evening during school term and run from 4.30pm until 5.15pm.
